Try Excel instead of word. And remember, only a few more weeks until wrap.

I'm not a Word/Excel genius, but given a few hours, I can get things to center in their boxes. It usually does take me longer than it's supposed to, and that makes me sad.

I only have Word Perfect here, so I can't help. :(

Oh, and I've got Michael on my Google Reader. Already commented!

If you have access to Excel, I vote for that as well. Word always makes me cuss trying to get it exactly how I want it, and then it blows up and crashes anyway. Yes, I am SO objective.

I just tried downloading the Aire River Designs knitting fonts (from that Fleegle's Blog entry that Anastasia provided). I can get them to center in a Word table (plain old "insert table" table) by right-clicking the table, going down to Cell Alignment, then choosing the center option in the top row or middle row. For some reason these options aren't showing up on the table menu - just vertical alignment, not horizontal (thanks, MS Word, for being SO CONSISTENT.)

I didn't try the Xenakis fonts or any others, though.
